A cooperation between the "Reclaim Our Economy"-Network; Urban Systems, University Duisburg-Essen; The Club Of Rome; Sustainability Process, University Duisburg-Essen; European Green Capital Essen 2017.

After a busy summer visiting many great events all across Europe, we are excited to announce our first ever very own public event as Reclaim Our Economy (link for registration below). Join us at this free and public event from the 27th to 29th of October in Essen, Germany, and become a part of our journey towards an economy that serves the planet and people. How to co-create a movement? What are opportunities and challenges for systemic transformation of the economy? How do we move forward as a collective? These are just some of the questions we will be working on. According to UN statistics in just a few decades cities will house ⅔ of world population. This is why we choose to set or first meeting in the same context, presenting: Cities as Drivers for Alternative Economies. We have a couple of exciting speakers but put a strong emphasis on workshops and working groups.
